Cleantech Content

Service terms and data licence

Effective 8 September 2026 for the free and paid pilot.

Operator

Cleantech Content is a trading name of Electric Car Home Ltd, company number 12046339, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Garswood, Warnford, Southampton, Hampshire, England, SO32 3LH. The company is not VAT registered. Contact david@cleantechcontent.co.uk.

The service

This pilot delivers single-rate GB Ofgem reference information for software and AI agents. The person or business operating the agent is the user. Check that you have authority to use the service. It is information, not a supplier quotation, personal recommendation or maximum household bill.

Free trial and availability

Five successful lookups per allocation, with no daily reset; up to 200 allocations. New trial use ends 7 October 2026 at 19:39 UTC or when capacity is exhausted. Shared public IP addresses share an allocation. We may pause new requests to address errors or abuse. There are no subscriptions or card purchases. Paid lookup terms follow below.

Retain your token, exact query and idempotency key for recovery of a saved result. Recovery provides the original dated response, not a refreshed quote. Saved free results are intended to remain available during the experiment; no paid recovery guarantee is made by these free-trial terms.

Accuracy

Each result includes its source and verification date. Confirm information against its primary source before relying on it for a consequential decision. Tell us about errors. The experimental service may be interrupted; nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Source licence

Source: Ofgem. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Structured by Cleantech Content. Retain source URLs and dates and do not imply official endorsement. Our service conditions do not remove underlying OGL reuse rights. Ofgem logos and separately identified third-party software are excluded.

Acceptable use

Keep credentials private. Do not bypass trial limits, disrupt the service or represent reference data as a personalised quote. Contact us for corrections, access problems or complaints.

Paid lookup terms

Cleantech Content is operated by Electric Car Home Ltd, company 12046339, registered in England and Wales at Garswood, Warnford, Southampton, Hampshire, England, SO32 3LH. Contact david@cleantechcontent.co.uk. The company is not VAT registered. No UK VAT is charged or separately recoverable on our service price. VAT included in the underlying Ofgem energy rates is a different matter.

The paying customer is the business authorising the agent, not the software itself. The agent must have permission to submit the business details and spend from the registered wallet. Supply accurate details for the business establishment receiving the service, not the agent's cloud-server location. Wallet signatures prove control of an EOA wallet; they do not independently validate the business or location. Contract wallets and unreviewed territories are not supported by this pilot.

Each successful new lookup costs exactly 0.01 USDC on Base mainnet through x402. The API provides the asset, recipient, network and amount before authorisation. Do not authorise a different amount, network or recipient. Do not send tokens directly to our recipient wallet expecting API credit. There are no card packs, subscriptions or recurring charges. The five-call trial does not reset daily.

The initial paid territories are the UK; US California, Texas, Massachusetts, Washington, Wisconsin and Minnesota; and Canadian Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Yukon. Availability may close earlier when a regional or global limit is reached. Other territories are not automatically admitted. The overall pilot admits no more than 1,000 paid claims, including failed or uncertain claims, at most 10 USDC in lookup receipts; Minnesota has a separate 100-claim ceiling. These limits apply across the pilot's customers, not separately per wallet, and are not replenished by a redeployment.

Invalid, unsupported, empty or stale results are refused before settlement is requested. Once settlement begins, an error does not prove no transfer happened. Preserve the original signed payment credential and exact dated query. Retry that same request or use the recovery-only MCP tool. Do not authorise another payment while an earlier result is uncertain.

We retain a saved paid response and its recovery information for at least 90 days after recorded settlement, including when new sales have stopped. Recovery returns the original dated response, not a new current quote. Report delivery problems promptly. If we wrongly collect a duplicate lookup charge or accept payment but cannot supply its saved result, we will investigate and refund the wrongly collected lookup amount where appropriate. Statutory rights are unaffected.

Refund handling is an exceptional manual process. Contact us with the public transaction reference and request details; never send a private key or seed phrase. We verify the original payment and refund only to its original payer. We do not require an additional payment to obtain a refund. An uncertain refund submission is investigated before any retry. Provider settlement gas sponsorship is separate from any wallet fees incurred independently by the customer; we add no extra lookup charge after authorisation.
